The short version

The Corner 52 website is made of static pages: no cookies, no analytics, no social buttons following you around. The only thing that comes from outside is the Google map, and only if you ask for it by tapping «Show the map». That is why you never see a consent banner: until you tap that button, there is nothing to consent to.

Personal data only comes up if you message or call us to book a table. Below is what we handle, why, and for how long.

Data controller

The controller is 7 Pinte S.r.l., registered office at Via delle Panche 52, 50141 Firenze (FI), VAT and tax number 07468340489, Florence Companies Register, REA no. FI 705354. It is the company that runs Corner 52.

Cookies, measurement and the map

Of our own, none. The pages set no cookies, technical or otherwise, and call no external service while you read them.

The typefaces are our own files, served from our own server. The map is Google Maps, and it only loads if you tap «Show the map»: from then on Google may use its cookies under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy). The site remembers your choice in your browser, with a note that stays on your phone and never reaches us, so next time the map appears straight away; to withdraw it, clear this site's data in your browser.

When you book a table

The “Book a table” button opens WhatsApp with a message already written. The message leaves your phone and reaches ours: the website never sees it and keeps no copy.

When you write or call we handle your name, your phone number and the date and time you want. That is only used to hold your table and to call you back if something changes. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We keep it for the length of the booking and a little beyond, to sort out any mix-ups, then delete it. We never use it for marketing and never pass it on.

WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own privacy notice, which is outside our control: the conversation lives inside the app under Meta's rules. If you would rather not use it, the phone works just as well.

Server logs

Like any website, the server hosting it records the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested. That keeps the service running and protects it from abuse, a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Those logs are kept only as long as security requires and are never combined with anything else to profile visitors.

Links to other sites

Some links lead away from here: Just Eat and Deliveroo for delivery, TheFork and Google for reviews, Instagram and Facebook for our pages. From that point on their rules apply, not ours, and we have no control over what they do with your data.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object to processing or ask for a copy: these are the rights in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR. Just call 371 454 5405 or write to the registered office.

If you believe something is wrong you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting something it does not collect today, this page will be rewritten first, not afterwards.
